I just don't know what to think.
I recently gave up my job at Maggie Moos [an ice cream franchise] despite the promotion and 2nd raise I would have gotten at the end of the month. I have Celiac Disease, I cannot eat anything that has gluten in it [you can search on Wikipedia or anywhere on the Internet about it. I'm too lazy to explain it today.] But, it makes me extremely sick if I consume the slightest bit. An example would be pizza. If I had half a slice of pizza, it would send me to the emergency room.
It's been making me sick to work there. When we cook waffle cones, it nearly makes me throw up. I developed migraines after an hour my shift began nearly every shift. I also broke out a lot and my ears would burn. To make it worse, it was my first job. I had been there for a year and a half, since it opened. I knew how to do everything. I mean everything . I knew everyone. It was an awesome place to work. I had shift manager in the bag. And I let it go.
I have noticed a difference in how I feel. But, I've got a lot of time on my hands now. It's almost depressing.
Just thought I'd bundle up my thoughts in this handy little journal.
